Hiring foreign employees in the Netherlands

M-form
Employees who lived both in the Netherlands and abroad within the same calendar year must file an M-form as part of their first Dutch income tax return. This form is intended to establish tax obligations accurately in both countries. Submitting it is the first step of introducing the new expat to the Dutch Tax Office.
30% ruling
The 30% ruling is a tax benefit for some expats who come to work in the Netherlands. This ruling is intended to compensate for the additional costs of relocating and living in the Netherlands. To qualify, employees must meet specific conditions, such as having a specialized skill that is scarce in the Dutch labor market.
Compensation schemes
