Allowances (or in Dutch: toeslagen) are financial compensations for specific costs, like rent, healthcare, and childcare subsidy. It is wise to check whether you are entitled to allowances. But you also have to make sure that you do not receive too much because then you have to pay this amount back all at once!

Expat tax service
We help, support, and unburden expats in the Netherlands with their Dutch taxes. With our expat tax services, we will handle every aspect of the Dutch tax system and give you advice on your tax. We listed what is included below.
When you receive a provisional tax assessment, you receive or pay tax during the fiscal year instead of after you filed your annual Dutch tax return. If you have to pay tax, a provisional tax return ensures that you do not have to pay the full amount at once. If you will receive money, it leads to a monthly additional income.
The Belastingdienst sends you information about your tax situation in the Netherlands via their famous blue envelopes in Dutch. You could receive a fine if you miss out on some of these letters. If you choose for our tax service, the tax office will send the letters to us and we will handle them for you. Of course, we will update you and give you full English support.
Are you an employee working in the Netherlands, and were you recruited from abroad? Good chance that you may apply for the 30% ruling! This is a tax benefit for expats in the Netherlands. One of the Dutch tax benefits is that your employer may pay out 30% of your wage tax-free. Another benefit is that you do not have to state your box 2 & box 3 assets (except for a financial interest in a Dutch bv and property in the Netherlands). Together with your employer, you have to apply for the 30% ruling. The Dutch tax office (Belastingdienst) will approve when you meet all the criteria (e.g., income threshold). We can assist you with your application for the 30% ruling. Contact us using the details mentioned below.
