Tax Advisor
Rozemarijn is a tax advisor at TaxSavers. She helps Dutch and international clients with their tax questions, combining careful research with practical, goal-oriented advice.
What I learn in the lecture hall one week, I apply to a real client file the next. That is the best part of combining my tax law studies at the University of Amsterdam with my work at TaxSavers.
I was born in Hilversum and now live in Amsterdam. Before TaxSavers I had a number of side jobs, but none of them in tax. The way I ended up here was pure chance: I bumped into someone who worked at TaxSavers on the street, we got talking, and afterwards I sent an email and applied.
Most of my work is advice. I help Dutch clients, and English-speaking clients too, with their tax questions. I like to dig into a file properly, research it carefully and then give advice that is practical and aimed at what the client actually wants to achieve.
The moment I enjoy most is when I fully understand a file and my own analysis matches the figures. That is when I know the advice is right.
I work in a team with many experienced colleagues, and I learn something from them every day. That is exactly what makes TaxSavers such a good place to work.
