A well-insured Dutch home rests on three covers: contents, buildings and personal liability. Contents (inboedel) protects your belongings. Buildings (opstal) covers the structure you own. Liability (AVP) is a separate policy for damage you cause to others. Renters can skip buildings. You will find the other covers on the insurance overview.
