Social Media Marketer
Valeria is social media marketer at TaxSavers. She turns complex tax and financial topics into clear, engaging content that helps internationals understand their situation.
I know how confusing financial systems can feel when you live in another country. That international perspective shapes the way I create content: clear, human and easy to relate to.
I was born and raised in Venezuela, and have since lived in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. At Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, I completed two separate bachelor's degrees: Journalism and Media Communication, and Political Science and Public Management. During my studies I also did an exchange in Rotterdam.
Before TaxSavers, I worked at Rotterdam Partners, for Rotterdam International Center within the Trade & Investment department. I worked on digital communications, LinkedIn content, partnerships, events and regional campaigns, and turned reports and city statistics into content people wanted to read.
I joined TaxSavers because I am interested in finance, mathematics and investments, and because I love translating complex information into something easier to understand. Here I can combine communication, creativity and finance for an international audience. I create, film, edit, write and design content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, and I work on partnerships, events, creator collaborations and our community.
Many people avoid looking closely at their finances. They put off their tax return, pension or mortgage because it feels intimidating, or because they do not know where to start. I want to make those topics feel clear, familiar and even enjoyable to learn about, while keeping the information professional. What I enjoy most is finding out what people are really confused about, and creating the content that answers it.
