Your childcare allowance, kept right all year
Your allowance arrives in advance, on an estimate of your household income. We apply for it. Our monthly plan then keeps it current and reads the final calculation.

Advance and settlement
We file the application, pass on every change and read the final calculation when it lands. You tell us what moved and we pass it on. We work in Mijn Toeslagen, the Belastingdienst's allowance portal, with your DigiD and your permission. DigiD is your Dutch government login and you apply for it yourself. Every Dutch letter that follows, we explain in English.
Your childcare allowance application starts with an estimate, not a final sum. You tell the Belastingdienst what your household expects to earn this year. That household figure has a Dutch name, the toetsingsinkomen. Income earned abroad counts towards it. The Belastingdienst pays a monthly advance on it.
After the year ends the Belastingdienst compares your estimate with the real figures. That gap is where a repayment comes from. Your income and your childcare hours both move during a year. You have four weeks to report each change. Whether you qualify at all depends on your work or study and on your childcare. Our page on childcare allowance in the Netherlands covers that.

Your situation
You probably recognise yourself in one of these.
Apply in the start month or the three months after it. Wait longer and you lose the earliest months, not the allowance.

Book your free callThe first three steps get the application filed. Step four runs all year, on the monthly plan.
You tell us when childcare started and who earns what. We tell you what is still possible.
We fill in the income estimate, the hours and your childcare details. You read it before we file.
You get a copy of what we filed. You hear from the Belastingdienst within 13 weeks at the latest.
Pricing
One price to get the application filed. One to keep a running allowance right. Start with the application and add the monthly plan whenever you want.
Applying takes an afternoon. Keeping the estimate true across twelve months is where it gets hard.

What's included
One tax advisor across the whole year
The definitieve berekening (final calculation) settles the whole year and can ask for money back. You have six weeks from the date on the letter to object. We read it with you. Our monthly plan covers that reading and the objection.
Not sure the allowance applies to you at all? Start with the scheme itself.
You send changes as they happen. We report them within four weeks and read the final calculation.

One tax advisor stays with you all year, in English. A second tax advisor reviews the work.
Both prices cover our work only. The Belastingdienst pays the allowance into your own Dutch bank account. The money arrives around the twentieth of each month.
Your allowance and your tax return run on the same household income. Our page on the Dutch tax return explains what we do there.
The one-off price covers one application, from the income estimate to the advance decision. The monthly price covers a running year. That means your changes, the final calculation and objection support.
What is not covered? Your childcare contract and your invoices to the provider. We do not file healthcare, rent or child-related allowances. Our page on Dutch allowances explains those.
We never handle your money. The paperwork is ours and the decisions stay yours.

Gertrud from TaxSavers was professional and responsive, very satisfied
Perfect and expert service. Super fast and at a very reasonable price. 5 stars, then!

“Almost every repayment I see started with a number somebody guessed in December. Nobody was wrong on purpose. We just keep looking at that number while the year is still running.”
