I know from experience how confusing the Dutch tax system can be. As an expat, I made mistakes in my own tax return and often did not understand how things worked. That is exactly why I like helping other expats: I want to take some of that stress off their shoulders.

I was born and raised in Greece and studied Business and Management at Queen Margaret University, in Thessaloniki. Before TaxSavers, I worked as a client advisor in sales for Hogan, selling premium shoes. Working with clients every day taught me a lot about communication and about listening to what someone really needs.

I found the vacancy at TaxSavers on Indeed and applied because the role felt like a good fit. Since September 2026, I have been the first point of contact for many of our clients. I answer the phone, find out what a client needs and work out how we can help. I also explain our services and packages, and I review documents.

Many questions follow a familiar pattern. Some clients want to correct a tax return from a previous year, because something may have been filed incorrectly. Others want to make a voluntary disclosure: they left something out of an earlier return and want to report it themselves, with professional support.

What I like most is the mix of people and precision: talking with clients and working carefully with details. The work itself is quite individual, but I really value the team. We discuss cases together, and that makes the work better.
